This Week: What CWA is Doing and How YOU Can Get Involved

  • September 1: CWA Legislator Call-In Day. CWA members around the state will be calling their legislators and telling them not to destroy Civil Service. For more information, including materials to help you and your coworkers, click here or here.  Miss Call-In Day?  Any day is a great day to talk to your legislators about your rights on the job!
  • September 5: Labor Day parade honoring public workers in Paterson. Participants are asked to assemble in the parking lot behind the Paterson Museum at 11:30 (click here for more information).
 
CWA will continue talking to elected officials about our concerns with the “Toolkit” this week:
