CWA Launches Memorial Day Radio Ads Highlighting Christie's Attempt to Gut Worker Protections, Increase Corruption
CWA will run radio ads statewide during Memorial Day weekend highlighting Governor Christie's proposals to gut the Civil Service sytem in New Jersey--dismantling preferences for American veterans in hiring and promotions at a time when unemployment among veterans is 16%.

The ads will blanket the state, running on 28 different radio stations in every media market in the state. They are part of CWA's broader campaign to stop Chris Christie from handing public jobs out to political cronies in New Jersey by eliminating the rules that stop discrimination in the hiring process. Without these protections, elected officials could replace dedicated, career public servants with their campaign contributors and friends without warning.
CWA is also currently running television ads about the proposals, which can be seen here.
