Verizon has asked for the most sweeping rollback of union contract provisions ever. Verizon is actively trying to send good, middle class jobs to other countries yet, it has paid its top five executives 258 million dollars since 2007. Send a message to Verizon that it cannot destroy 45,000 middle class jobs and expect Americans to keep giving it business.
CWA & IBEW Verizon workers from up & down the East Coast gathered outside Verizon's NYC headquarters by the thousands this week to tell Verizon that they weren't willing to let Verizon bust their unions and slash their pay while making billions in profit. See video of the rally below.

More than 15,000 Verizon workers and their supporters massed Saturday outside Verizon headquarters in New York City, roaring approval for their bargaining committee and booing the corporate executives who want to take away workers’ pensions, health care, sick days, and holidays, suspend weekend differentials and replace regular pay raises with merit pay.

Flight attendants at United, Continental and Continental Micronesia Airlines voted for AFA representation at the new United Airlines. AFA-CWA International President Veda Shook said the election "is an historic moment for AFA and our profession." With colleagues from Continental and Continental Micronesia, "our combined strength is greater than ever."
